The coastal waters of Wales can accommodate all levels of ability, from Cardiff Bay to the 22 miles of sheltered navigable water in Milford Haven, to the wide open spaces of Cardigan Bay and the challenging ‘Swellies’ in the Menai Straits, you can be sure to find the waters best suited to you.

If you are a beginner looking to learn to sail for the first time, or more experienced and looking to brush up your skills, or attain a RYA qualification, then Wales with its wide selection of RYA Sea Schools and Sailing Centres is the perfect place for you!  There are a wide variety of RYA courses to choose from, both for beginners, intermediates and experts, taking you to some of the finest cruising destinations in Wales and further afield. For beginners, many schools offer taster sessions so you can decide if the sport is for you before you enroll on a course or book a holiday.
