The popularity of Wales as a cruising destination amongst boaters is demonstrated by the range of moder marinas and harbour facilities dotted along our coastline. These well equipped ' ports of call' cater for all tastes and offer a wide range of services and supplies, enabling you to refuel, stock up and enjoy a great time ashore in the many quality pubs and restaurants you will find on your journey around Wales.

There are six marinas in North Wales:

  • Deganwy Marina is a luxury 180 berth marina with magical views of the historic 13th century Conwy castle, incredibale mountain ranges and superb sailing waters
  • Conwy Quays Marina with 500 sheltered pontoon berths is a great place to moor up for the evening, or longer, and enjoy historic Conwy with its wide selection of pubs and quality restaurants
  • Port Dinorwic, situated on the Menai Straits is Britain's only Grade 2 Listed Marina
  • Victoria Dock, Caernarfon welcome's visitors enabling you to step ashore and explore the historic town and castle of Caernarfon - a World Heritage site
  • Holyhead Marina on the Isle of Anglesey is often the first port of call in Wales for visitors arriving from across the irish Sea, England's North West and Scotland. Holyhead has 24 hour access and is continuing to add to its' already extensive facilities and services.
  • Hafan Pwllheli is one of the finest yachting venues in Britain with over 400 pontoons and excellent onshore facilities and is a gateway to some of the finest sailing waters in Europe.

West Wales

  • Aberystwyth Marina is set in the picturesque town's harbour and has over 100 berths

South & South West Wales has six marinas:

  • Cambrian Marine Village
  • Penarth Quays Marina
  • Swansea Marina
  • Burry Port Marina
  • Neyland Yacht Haven
  • Milford Marina
