Activity Search : Coasteering
It's easy to get hooked on coasteering, the adrenaline fuelled adventure sport that was 'invented' in Pembrokeshire in the 1980's and 90's and has since spread worldwide.
On paper it sounds a little crazy - you climb sea cliffs, traverse rocks, explore sea caves and best of all, jump into the water. In practice, it's great fun. Book a few hours with an adventure operator and you'll be kitted out with wetsuit, buoyancy aid and crash helmet - and away you go, for a bit of 'extreme rock-pooling'.
Coasteering has really taken off in Pembrokeshire, the Gower Peninsula and parts of North Wales, and although it's most popular in summer, good conditions last well into the autumn, when seas are warmish and wave conditions more challenging.
