"Professional Powerboat Training" was established in 2002 by Jono Garton as a dedicated full time Powerboat Training Centre. As well as being passionate about the water and having many years experience in a variety of boats, Jono's previous career also gave him great experience in training people. These days Jono is extremely involved with Pwllheli Lifeboat serving as Helmsmen on the Inshore D Class Lifeboat and Navigator on the All Weather Mersey Class Lifeboat. Jono spends allot of time training with the RNLI in Pwllheli & Poole where he is proud to have passed the the strict RNLI RYA Yachtmaster Power Exam.

Your time with PPT will be spent with you by Jono and the team. All the team have many years boating and teaching experience in a variety of boats and areas. When the team are not teaching you will find them in a variety of different craft completing various extensive trips. It’s not unknown for us to "pop" over to Ireland for a burger and back in time for the evening lifeboat practice
